  Chinese (or Asian/Oriental) Medicine includes these therapies: acupuncture, herbal formulas, massage (shiatsu or tuina), exercise (including tai qi, qi gong), moxabustion, cupping, gua-sha and nutrition.  It is and has been a complete system of medicine for thousands of years that works wonderfully to restore and maintain health.  Countless generations of Chinese physicians have refined the medicine to make it what it is today. 

  Acupuncturists in California are considered primary care practitioners, and therefore no referral is required by your medical doctor.  Our office welcomes all cases and we are happy to work in conjunction with your doctor and other healthcare providers.

Follow Cindy's journey to China!  During the last 2 weeks of April, Cindy traveled to Chengdu, China, to study at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the gynecology department.  Here she had the opportunity to expand her knowledge about using herbal medicine and acupuncture in the treatment of fertility and other gynecological disorders to bring back to her patients in the states.

Services Offered

Our clinic offers Chinese Medicine (acupuncture, chinese herbs, cupping, gua-sha, tuina), Western herbal medicine, and Chiropractic.  All practitioners are licensed in the state of California and board certified.  Our family has been serving Ventura County's alternative health care needs since 1981. 

We have a full X-Ray machine and processing equipment for on-site film development,  a full herbal pharmacy with over 300 herbs (chinese and western) in raw, granular, tincture and tablet form, 6 treatment rooms.  We can bill your insurance if your plan includes our services.
