My path to health, naturally: CINDY's story

I am thankful for my health, and for the amazing life I have today.   As a child, I was the runt of the litter.  Always had a snotty nose, was sickly skinny and caught every bug that came through town.  I eventually developed severe asthma and was put on steroids and given an inhaler.  The asthma attacks were frightening; I could inhale, but not exhale.  While visiting family in Japan one summer, I suffered numerous attacks.  Aunt Chieko took me to her physician.  He gave me a few packets of some horribly smelly (and tasting!) powder.  My aunts forced me to drink this daily (which I fought and dreaded).  When I returned to the U.S. a few weeks later, I was completely asthma free!  I remember thinking, as a kid, "why don't they have that medicine here in the states?" 18 years later, I learned what that stuff was.  Chinese herbs!  In Japan only medical doctors & pharmacists can prescribe chinese medicinals.

I have also been blessed by receiving chiropractic care after a car accident, and after the birth of my first child.  Both times I was relieved from intense pain with just a few weeks of chiropractic care after my medical doctors had told me to 'just take Advil'.

I have Dr. Zhu, acupuncture and chinese herbs to thank for my daughter.  I could not conceive for a year and (being sensitive to medication) didn't want to resort to hormone therapy.  In just 6 weeks of weekly treatments and consistent boiling and drinking of my herb formulas, I was happily pregnant! 

I, myself, am living proof of that time and time again, natural medicine works!
